Marcos Esquivel is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He is currently running his own business through TrainerFit Facilities in Tempe where he trains everyone from weight loss clients, weekend warriors, and athletes of all sports from the youth ranks all the way up to the college and professional level. He is entering his second year as the strength and conditioning coach for the Desert Mountain Boys Basketball program. He graduated from Ray High School in Kearny, Arizona in 2006. From there he went on to play football at Mesa Community College in 2006 and 2007 where he earned a full scholarship to go play for Fayetteville State University in North Carolina. He was named 1st team All CIAA linebacker in 2008 and 2009. He began training athletes in 2011 at Athletic Republic Tempe where he became a Level 3 Certified trainer. When Athletic Republic Tempe re-branded to Rise Performance Fitness Therapy at the end of 2013, Marcos was named the Head Strength Coach and maintained that position until the business was sold in May of 2015. Aside from training athletes, he enjoys lifting weights, playing recreational sports, traveling, and spending time with his beautiful fiancé Nicole.
